Motiv leverages health and wellness data from devices you already use.  All you have to do is configure your challenge and hold yourself accountable to meet your goals

Who can you challenge?

Challenge yourself

If you're tired of setting goals and failing to meet them, give yourself a little incentive.  Challenge yourself to meet an individual goal, and we'll charge you if you don't.  Set the ($) amount, frequency, goal, start and end dates.  The rules are simple - if you do what you say you'll do, you better yourself;  If you don't, you pay the price.


For example, you can set up a challenge to charge yourself $5 every day you don't walk 10,000 steps.


Don't want to lose your money?  Simple - just do what you said you would

Challenge your friends

Looking for an accountability buddy?  Need a little extra motivation?  Challenge your friends and compete on wellness goals.  Set your ($) amount, goal, start and end dates.  We'll leverage data from devices you already use to determine who better met their goals.  Just like fantasy sports, the winner(s) will take the prize(s).


For example, challenge your friends $20 each to see who walks more in a given month.  The winner takes the pot.


Earn a little money to go along with your bragging rights. At the end of the day, you're all winners.

Tired of sitting around?  We leverage the Apple HealthKit API to determine:

  • The distance you've walked/run
  • The amount of steps you've taken


Want to walk 10,000 steps a day?  Challenge yourself!

Activity levels are based specifically on the values from your Apple Health app within your iPhone

We all spend a little too much time staring at our devices.  Give yourself an incentive to cut back and go touch grass.  We leverage data from Apple Screen Time to measure time spent on your phone and specific applications.


Challenge yourself or your friends to limit your screen time - even if it's restricted to just a specific app.


Screen Time is based specifically on the values from iPhone's Screen Time within the settings

Sleep better

Feeling tired or groggy?  Commit to hitting your sleep goals.  We leverage the Apple HealthKit API to determine how long and how well you've slept.  We consider:

  • Sleep duration
  • Sleep quality


You can set up your Apple Health app to leverage data from your devices like your Whoop or Apple Watch.  Eventually, we'll collect data directly from other sources like Whoop or Oura


For now, sleep data is based specifically on the data in your Apple Health app within your iPhone

Stop saying you'll go to the gym - just go.  We leverage geolocation data from your iPhone to see how long you've really spent at the gym.  If you want to spend more time there, challenge yourself or your friends.


Sure - you could just sit in the bathroom, but you'd really just be cheating yourself....
